too many to choose from.

This is a decent location, aside from the 152 stairs. I count to distract myself. Or maybe I'm a bit OCD. Great sky nonetheless! October 7, 2012 sunset.

clouds have no rules.

Sometimes clouds look amazing right before sunset, then 30 minutes later they're gone. Example shown below from October 9, 2012.

and so it begins (again).

Overall I'm pretty pleased with this set. Great clouds, color and I made due with my limited access at Long Marine Lab. Great location, as far west as I could go without heading up HWY 1, September 21, 2012.

WHAT CLOUDS?

I don't even bother with going out for pictures if I don't see clouds. Today's exception was for a friend who will be sacrificed to Seattle very, very soon. February 11, 2012 was just a simple, no-frills sunset.

MATH CLASS

Statistics overlapped with the sunset tonight. Honestly, as much as I would have loved to have been in clear view of the sky, I'm glad I got to see anything at all. The clouds were perfect - I totally don't use that word lightly. Just a glorious array setup for the end of the day on February 9, 2012, and I was driving in the opposite direction. It was worth barely making it to class on time after I stopped around campus to get whatever shots I could.

Really though, pictures don't do this sunset justice.

2011 SUN SEASON BEGINS

Reminder to self #1:
Try to branch out; sun pictures don't have to be exclusive to a beach setting.

The summertime rarely produces decent cloud coverage for colorful sunsets, so August 12, 2011 was unexpected:
