December 31, 2011: such a beautiful day, and a sunset to match.

 

 

 

AND THEN THERE WAS FOG...

Sunset December 29, 2011. Ideal clouds and vibrant color, but the fog rolled in really quickly giving the pictures a blurry effect. Grateful I got to see it in-person.

PREMATURE

I've left what I thought was a dud sunset a few times now. I see grey clouds and wait, but not long enough. December 28, 2011 all I managed to take a picture of was the sky turning electric pink as I was almost home from the beach. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on ME.

HO HO HO

December 25, great sunset after many cloudless days. Once the sky was turning pink none of the surfers were getting out of the water, which would have made a nice silhouette on the last shot. But I'm happy nonetheless. Hopefully I'll get in at least one more before saying sayonara to 2011.

COUSIN SQUARED

November 26, new cousin arrived; if newborns went outside the day they were born, this would be the first sunset he'd get to enjoy. Bike shot in honor of Jenni and Doug, the new parents!
