This is a decent location, aside from the 152 stairs. I count to distract myself. Or maybe I'm a bit OCD. Great sky nonetheless! October 7, 2012 sunset.

Sometimes clouds look amazing right before sunset, then 30 minutes later they're gone. Example shown below from October 9, 2012.

Seven hours of driving on October 13, 2012, and I made it into San Diego County for my friends beautiful wedding just as the sun was coming up. I have no comment on how I took this picture on the I-5.

Overall I'm pretty pleased with this set. Great clouds, color and I made due with my limited access at Long Marine Lab. Great location, as far west as I could go without heading up HWY 1, September 21, 2012.
